This super little chestnut pony is a real sweetheart and has just finished being started by young show and dressage rider Chloe Campbell and ready to go to a loving and knowledgeable home.
Freda is aged three (but with a very mature head on her shoulders) and is currently around 13.1 hh and still growing! She also loves cuddles and is a very sweet natured girl, and just last weekend was also introduced to whip cracking and cattle..taking it all in her stride! She walks, trots and canters in both directions with no fuss, and has been worked both in indoor and outdoor arenas in recent months, plus she’s done plenty of quiet trail rides and stock work around our farm…and always walks home on a loose rein. She doesn’t fret about working away from other horses and has no bite, kick, rear or buck in her – but she is lovely and free moving, so not a plodder and therefore not suitable for an absolute beginner or tiny rider. Freda is already showing talent for jumping and/or sporting, and she is currently working softly and in a collected frame in her flat and lateral work.
It is our firm belief that she would make an absolutely stunning hack pony…or a terrific pony club/pleasure mount. She’s priced at $4400 (inc. GST) – which also includes 2 FREE lessons with Michelle O’Neill from Cherry Tree Equine and both her current canvas/fully lined winter rug and a cotton show rug for her new owners. We’ll be taking more photos on the weekend, but you can watch the attached video to see just how quiet and co-operative this little mare is!
You can also view her under saddle at the Nimmitabel Pony club rally at Mila via Bombala on August 17th – or by appointment.
